Regina became a city in 1903. Two years later, Saskatchewan became a province and chose Regina as its capital city. Today, this diverse and vibrant community is one of Canada’s fastest growing major cities with a population over 215,000 people.

A culturally and commercially vibrant community located in the south central area of the province, Regina is home to the RCMP Training Academy and beautiful Wascana Centre. Regina’s resource based economy is fueled by agriculture, oil and gas production and development, as well as telecommunications.
